‘Beauty after the ashes’

The Fire lilies, Cyrtanthus ventricosus, and the pink flowers of the pretty
Mairia coriacea are only ever seen after fire.

The Fire lilies have flowered already and are turning to seed. The Mairia
are flowering now, little pink splashes of colour on the blackened slopes
